Began to operate the Plant Compressor Mercedes, located in the province of Buenos Aires. This implementation allows you to add 6 million cubic meters per day (m3/day) of gas to the Pipeline Mercedes-Cardales generating savings of $ 2.5 million a day in winter.
The Compressor Plant, which is part of the complementary works of the Pipeline Perito Moreno, enables the pipeline Mercedes-Cardales transfer up to 15 million m3/day from TGS to TGN, allowing to replace liquid fuels imported gas from Vaca Muerta to generate electricity at the Thermal power Plants of Santa Fe and north of Buenos Aires.
The work at the plant included the installation of a compressor 15,000 HP of power and advanced equipment for suction and discharge coming out of China, that will ensure the optimal functioning of the system.
