Energy Argentina gave a new step forward in the construction of the Pipeline, President Néstor Kirchner, at the start of the opening of the envelope 2, which contains the economic proposals of the civil work.
In this opportunity, the opening up of the economic proposals corresponding to the rows 1 and 5 of the Public procurement GPNK 07/2022 “Engineering, procurement of equipment and materials, construction – Pipeline President Néstor Kirchner and additional works Stage I”.
It should be remembered that the Line 1 corresponds to the construction of 220 km of pipe extending between the connection to the system of TGS (in the Conditioning Plant Tratayén) to kilometer 220 of the trace of the gas Pipeline, located in The Pampas.
Also, the Line 5 corresponds to the Compressor Plant Mars 100 in the header of the Pipeline Mercedes-Cardales in Buenos Aires province.
For Line 1, bids are supported technically are: the UTE TECHINTSACDE and the BTU SA.
In terms of Line 5, were supported technically offerings of ESUCO SA and the BTU SA.
After the ceremony, the President of Energy Argentina, Augustine Gerez, noted that, “with a lot of dedication, effort and commitment, we are carrying out the final part of the bidding process of this important work, in this opportunity by opening the very first lines, which will be awarded in the next few days while we open the missing, completing this process during August, according to what was planned” and noted that the Pipeline Néstor Kirchner “is the great work of transformation for the future of our country because it will allow us to access more energy to competitive values, promoting the production and work, as well as the replacement of gas imports, and exporting to the region and the world.”
On 18 July, the company brought forward the opening of envelopes with bids for the procurement of valves for the Pipeline, as President Néstor Kirchner and his complementary works corresponding to the Stage I. Earlier, on July 8 was the opening of the over 1 bids for the engineering, supply of equipment, materials and the construction of the Pipeline, President Néstor Kirchner, and on the 16th of June, it signed the contract with the company SIAT for the provision of pipes 36 and 30 inches.
The Pipeline, as President Néstor Kirchner, who form part of the Programme Transport.Ar, you will need an extension of 573 miles between the town neuquén of Tratayén and Salliqueló, in the west of the province of Buenos Aires, crossing the Rio Negro and La Pampa. The Project also includes additional works such as the gas pipeline Mercedes-Cardales and the loop of the pipeline NEUBA II, totalling well 680 kilometres of pipes in Stage I.
This important piece of infrastructure will allow us to extend a 25% of the system's ability to transport natural gas from argentina. In addition it will be critical to the development of production in Vaca Muerta, as it will allow the input arrives to the major consumption centers of the country, improving its entirety, the gas transportation system.
