Energy Argentina formalized with EDELAP the transfer of the tasks of operation of the Transformer Station Ensenada de Barragán, located in the town of buenos aires Ensenada, in the vicinity of the city of la Plata.
In this way, it brought an end to the Transition Period provided for in the Agreement for Operation and Maintenance that had subscribed to both companies on December 11, 2023 -by the Resolution of the ENRE NO. 191/2011-, remaining assets in favor of Energy Argentina.
The signing of the act was conducted on Friday, June 28, at the premises of the facility and participated by Energy Argentina, the manager of Electrical Energy, Juan José Marcet, accompanied by the manager of Human Resources, Fabiana Holy. By the side of Edelap, signed the agreement the Maintenance manager, Fabian Brunelli.
With the withdrawal of the staff of Power in Argentina, at the end of a period of more than 12 years in charge of the operation and maintenance of the station, node electrical bonding with the SADI to the Central Thermal Ensenada de Barragán of 848 MW of power, which along 2023 contributed to the system 4.236 GWh.
It is noteworthy that during the period above-mentioned, there were no accidents of the affected staff to the transformer station, while maintaining a high performance operational security.
