The reversal of the Pipeline North is moving forward with the arrival of the first truck with a pipe to your collection in the province of Córdoba, while in parallel began to be mounted with the workers and camps.
Pipe, 36” diameter, are transported in trucks -4 units per journey - from the plant of Tenaris Siat in Valentín Alsina, Buenos Aires province, to the village of Ucacha, about 250 kilometers south of the provincial capital. In total, there will be 2,500 to travel to transport about 10 thousand pipes for the Pipeline of Federal Integration Tío Pujio - La Carlota, one of the works that form part of the project, together with the reversion of 4 compressor plants and the construction of a loop (laying parallel) to the Pipeline North.
It should be noted that the reversal of the Pipeline North is a complementary work to the GNPK to bring the gas from Vaca Muerta to the industries of Córdoba, Tucumán, La Rioja, Catamarca, Santiago del Estero, Salta and Jujuy, for the generation of electrical energy, the connection of new homes and the scale development of new industrial activities, especially the mining of lithium. With this work will reduce the import of gas, which translates into a significant savings in foreign exchange and make it possible to also export gas to countries in the region.
