The first pipes for the Reversal of the Pipeline North began to be transferred from the plant of Tenaris SIAT -located in the town of buenos aires Valentin Alsina - the collection centre in the province of Córdoba.
It is lots of tubes with seam 36 inches in diameter and 12 meters over a total of 10,000 that are in the process of production and demand some 2,500 truck trips. These pipes shall be used for the Pipeline of Federal Integration Tío Pujio - La Carlota, one of the works that form part of the project, together with the reversion of 4 compressor plants and the construction of a loop (laying parallel) to the Pipeline North.
This first consignment of pipes takes place after the signing of the contracts for sections 2 and 3 of the Reversal of the Pipeline North, held last January 26.
It should be noted that the Reversal of the Pipeline North is a complementary work to the Pipeline, as President Néstor Kirchner to bring the gas from Vaca Muerta to the industries of Córdoba, Tucumán, La Rioja, Catamarca, Santiago del Estero, Salta and Jujuy, for the generation of electrical energy, the connection of new homes and the scale development of new industrial activities, especially the mining of lithium.
