The first jets developed in the plant TenarisSIAT, in Valentín Alsina, they began to be transferred this week to the different points of the trace where you build the Pipeline, President Néstor Kirchner.
This is the first batch of tubes with seam 36 inches in diameter and 12 meters over a total of 48,000 that are already being manufactured, and that will demand approximately 12,000 travel in a truck, at a rate of 4 per shipment, that move to the different collection centers arranged in the provinces of Neuquén, Río Negro, La Pampa and Buenos Aires.
The demand for pipes generated from the construction of the Pipeline, President Néstor Kirchner led to the reactivation of the plant TenarisSIAT, of the Techint Group, which works to levels of activity record and continuous operation, and the creation of 350 jobs.
Weeks ago, Energy Argentina had already initiated the transfer of 7.444 pipes 36 and 30 inches for the pipeline Mercedes-Cardales and in the loop of the NEUBA II, the two complimentary pieces of the Pipeline, President Néstor Kirchner. These tubes correspond to expansions of the gas pipeline stem were paralyzed during 2015 and 2019, and were abandoned in deposits of Bell and Ensenada.
The Pipeline, as President Néstor Kirchner is a work of critical and historical, that will allow to increase the production of Cow's Dead (the second book of non-conventional gas in the world), expand the transport capacity of gas and get to the centers of consumption.
The first stretch of the GPNK will have a length of 573 km, and join the town neuquén of Tratayén to Salliqueló in the province of Buenos Aires, crossing the Rio Negro and La Pampa.
This project, which is in charge of the public company Energy Argentina, will save more than 2,900 million dollars a year in replacement of the import of fuels and reduction of subsidies, an increase in the availability of gas at competitive prices to industry, businesses and households, and to generate 10 thousand direct jobs and another 40 thousand indirect, between the construction of the work and the increased gas production in Vaca Muerta.
