Energy Argentina carried out today, the receipt and opening of bids for the procurement of valves for the Pipeline, as President Néstor Kirchner and his complementary works corresponding to the Stage I.
This is the “Public Tender GPNK N° 08/2022 Acquisition of valves Ø20”, Ø24”, Ø30” and Ø36’ DN for the Pipeline, as President Néstor Kirchner, the Pipeline Mercedes-Cardales and additional works of the Stage I”.
Were received offers from 7 companies: KSB Company's South american Bombs SA; Cameron Argentina SAIC; Valvtronic SA; Tormene Americana, Kioshi SA; Valbol SA and Wenlen SA.
The bid consists in the acquisition of valves 20, 24, 30 and 36 inches in diameter, the type of ball-of-way total. The document is divided in different “lines”, according to the dates on which it will be necessary the spherical valves to each of the segments of the Pipeline and its complementary works.
In this way, Energy Argentina continues to make progress in the prescribed time-limits a fundamental work for the energy system of argentina. The past 8 July was held the opening of the over 1 bids for the engineering, supply of equipment, materials and the construction of the Pipeline, President Néstor Kirchner. Previously, on 16 June, it signed the contract with the company SIAT for the provision of pipes 36 and 30 inches.
The Pipeline, as President Néstor Kirchner, who form part of the Programme Transport.Ar, you will need an extension of 573 miles between the town neuquén of Tratayén and Salliqueló, in the west of the province of Buenos Aires, crossing the Rio Negro and La Pampa. The project also includes additional works such as the gas pipeline Mercedes-Cardales and the loop of the pipeline NEUBA II, totalling well 680 kilometres of pipes in Stage I.
The Pipeline, as President Néstor Kirchner and his complementary works will extend a 25% of the system's ability to transport natural gas from argentina. In addition it will be critical to the development of production in Vaca Muerta, as it will allow the input arrives to the major consumption centers of the country, improving its entirety, the behavior of the gas transportation system
