THE PIPELINE PERITO FRANCISCO PASCACIO MORENO ALREADY ALLOWED A SAVING OF 421 MILLION DOLLARS ON ENERGY IMPORTS

The Pipeline Perito Francisco Pascacio Moreno already allowed our country to save 421 million dollars in imports of energy and is injecting volumes of gas that replaces the average energy purchases by $ 12 million per day.

Following the completion of the filling process and the start of injection to the backbone network, the pipe that connects Tratayén with Salliqueló leads provided a total of 482 million cubic meters of additional gas from Vaca Muerta, a volume of gas is significant that in a few days reached an injection of 14 million cubic meters of gas, above forecasts.

“This project is driven by the Minister Sergio Massa is a reality that brings with it an enormous impact on our balance energy, with savings that already exceeds the $ 420 million and whose gas that allows us to replace per day over 12 million dollars in import of energy,” noted Augustine Gerez, president of Energy Argentina, and added that “this is just the beginning of a new era for our country, that will take us quickly to achieve energy sovereignty by strengthening the public investment in strategic infrastructure”.

The first section of the gas Pipeline Perito Francisco Pascacio Moreno among Tratayén, Neuquén, and Salliqueló, in the province of Buenos Aires, is a work of critical and historical, planned and executed by Energy Argentina, that allows to increase the production of Cow's Dead (the second book of non-conventional gas in the world), expand the transport capacity of gas and get to the centers of consumption.

With 573 kilometers of extension, the Pipeline Perito Francisco Pascacio Moreno crosses the provinces of Neuquén, Río Negro, La Pampa and Buenos Aires, and for its construction were used more than 47.700 pipe 12 meters long and 36 inches in diameter. The work was done in a record time of 10 months, when the usual for this type of entrepreneurship is that it requires 24 months.
