Energy Argentina launched the Platform argentina hydropower (PLAHE), a system for on-line management of project information and hydroelectric works of our country, which serves to integrate the available knowledge on the basis georreferenciada, facilitating public access to information and analysis criteria on alternatives for hydraulic power generation.
The PLAHE was developed and is managed by Energy Argentina, using the information on the projects developed by national bodies, provincial, basin organizations and contractors that studies carried out in different eras.
The information available on the web portal https://plahe.energia-argentina.com.ar/provides a detailed overview and broad on the hydropower potential of the Argentina. All information contained on the site may be used freely.
It is a useful tool for planners, investors and civil society actors, with the aim of promoting the development of sustainable projects, strengthening the diversification of the national energy matrix, with a holistic view with respect to the regional development, environmental management and social participation.
In this way, Energy Argentina highlights the present and the hydropower potential national, recovering the history hidroenergética of our country with information of more than 100 years old.
