Energy Argentina carried out today the signing of contracts with the company BTU for the construction of two tranches outstanding project called the Reversal of the Pipeline North.
The event, which took place at the company's headquarters, was led by Juan Carlos Doncel Jones, president of Energy Argentina, accompanied by Rigoberto Mejia Aravena, vice president and Horacio Amartino, Director of the Unit of Execution of Pipelines. By BTU participated its president, Carlos Mundín.
The works include the construction of 22 km of the gas pipeline of Federal Integration Tío Pujio-La Carlota, Cordoba province, with spouts of 36-inch diameter, which links the Pipeline, Center-West and the North. This pipeline will have another 100 km that are already running.
In addition, the contractor BTU shall carry out the construction of two extensions (loops) to the Pipeline North of 62 km of extension, with pipes of 30 inches in diameter, also in the province of Córdoba.
The Reversal of the Pipeline North is complete with the change of the flow direction 4-compressor plants, which are in the process bidding.
This project, whose completion is scheduled for the end of the winter of this year. it will bring the gas from Vaca Muerta to homes and industries of Córdoba, Tucumán, La Rioja, Catamarca, Santiago del Estero, Salta and Jujuy, and the scale development of new industrial activities, especially the mining of lithium.
