Introduction
Do you know what is LNG?
By its acronym, LNG means Liquefied Natural Gas and is used to move the gas into a liquid state from one place to another by ship.
The procedure of liquefying natural gas requires the cooling of natural gas to -160°C, reducing to 600 times its volume. For your transfer is used by ships, to maintain that low temperature.
The process of the liquefied gas is composed of three phases:
• Liquefaction of Gas in the port of loading.
• Transport lng carriers.
• Regasification and injection to the gas pipeline network in the country of destination for that then comes to our homes, industries, etc
Every ship that enters travels from distant destinations such as Trinidad and Tobago, USA, Qatar, etc, requiring a strict planning for the entry and subsequent development of the operation at the port of discharge. The transfer of the ship from port of loading to Argentina can last up to 35 days.

From IEASA we monitor the ship and we see instantly the evolution of the domestic demand. Maintaining a permanent coordination with all actors involved.
The weather could affect both the feasibility of the income of cargo, as well as the deviation of demand with respect to previous estimates. This requires us to maintain an excellent tune with all the authorities involved, as the Prefecture; the operator of the regasificador and maritime agencies for each trade will have a good end.
Each ship must navigate through the Paraná de las Palmas River, whose income is limited by the depth, and requires the utmost attention to every procedure. IEASA coordinates these detailed actions to receive each shipment.

Using these operations, we contribute to the supply of up to 25% of the total gas injected into the national system. This is possible because, being the State energy company, we are the strategic tool through which the state supplements to the local production of our gas fields.

We assume a strong commitment to achieve goals that were previously unattainable. This record of prices implies coordination and precision administrative and operational to capitalize on opportunities.
Coordination that we carry out together with YPF as operator of the terminal Escobar, and with the operator of the regasificador. This work has allowed us to achieve the historical record of injection of gas from the vessel regasificador, reaching a peak equivalent to 22.7 MMm3/day.
All of this in times of a pandemic where the conditions are even more difficult and that's why they become more valuable to these achievements. The intervention of IEASA in the programming and planning becomes critical to optimize the costs.
