A public tender for private-sector initiative on the system of transportation of natural gas

Energía Argentina S.A. invites national and international companies to participate in the public, national, and international tender for the execution of the first private initiative project concerning the national natural gas transportation system. 

Consiste en la ampliación de la capacidad de transporte del Gasoducto Perito Moreno (GPM). Que en la actualidad transporta hasta 26 millones de metros cúbicos de gas por día desde Vaca Muerta (Neuquén) hasta Buenos Aires.

Las obras proyectadas consisten en incorporar nuevas plantas compresoras adicionales en algunos puntos del trazado del gasoducto y adecuar las instalaciones actuales. Eso permitirá adicionar 14 millones de metros cúbicos día y que el gasoducto Perito Moreno alcance su máxima capacidad operativa de transporte de hasta 40 millones de metros cúbicos día. 

Energía Argentina formalizará con el adjudicatario -quien tendrá a su cargo la Operación y Mantenimiento del GPM- un contrato de reserva de capacidad de transporte de 14 millones de metros cúbicos por un plazo de 15 años. Una vez finalizado ese tiempo, las nuevas instalaciones revertirán al Estado Nacional. 

Esta iniciativa, declarada de interés público por el Estado Nacional, posibilitará acelerar la puesta en valor de activos en Vaca Muerta, generar ahorros fiscales y beneficios para la balanza comercial nacional.

International tender to select a supplier–aggregator of LNG
