It was installed at Black River equipment key to the construction of the Pipeline, President Néstor Kirchner.
The development of the infrastructure necessary for the construction of the Pipeline, President Néstor Kirchner (GPNK), had a new milestone this week with the installation of a soldering iron industrial pipe that allows you to reduce the construction time.
The plant is double board was mounted in the province of Río Negro. This technology enables you to perform welding in industrial form in the own trace, which helps to significantly reduce the construction time.
In these mobile facilities are welded automatically two pipes of 12 meters long, a certain extension in the manufacturing process, and convert them into ducts of 24 meters, resulting in higher speed and in a smaller amount of welds when they are then placed adjacent to the trench (what is known as the parade of pipes).
Augustine Gerez, president of Energy Argentina, stated that “the incorporation of technologies, both plants double board as welding machines, automatic, for the first time will be used in our country, it is a central element which is going to decrease substantially the time limits of this work is strategic both need to achieve energy sovereignty” and explained that “these computers will be used in sections 1 and 2 of the work, which are more complex and extensive”.
The plant is double board is currently located in the km 60 of the trace on the Black River and is one of the two that are used in the project (the other will be in The Pampa).
The location of both plants on the trace will change by virtue of the progress of the works, since the aim is that the pipes of 24 meters move as little as possible.
The Pipeline, as President Néstor Kirchner, work Energy charge Argentina, will have a length of 573 km, and join the town neuquén of Tratayén to Salliqueló in the province of Buenos Aires, crossing the Rio Negro and La Pampa, in addition to the additional works.
This work is strategic, it will allow to expand the transport capacity of natural gas to take advantage of the potential of the Reservoir Dead Cow, replace imports, and exporting to the region and the world, in addition to increasing the supply of gas at competitive prices for households and industry.
