Energy Argentina carried out today the opening of envelopes with bids for the segments slopes of the Reversal of the Pipeline North, a work which will bring gas from Vaca Muerta to the north of our country.
Energy president of Argentina, Juan Carlos Doncel Jones, and the vice president. Roberto Mejía Aravena, led the ceremony in which they met the economic proposals for sections 1 and 2.
In this regard, bids that are supported technically were the BTU, the UT TECHINT-SACDE and PUMPCO INC.
It should be remembered that the line 1 consists of the construction of 22 km of the gas pipeline of Federal Integration Tío Pujio-a Charlotte, with spouts of 36-inch diameter, while the 2 is composed by the laying of two loops (expansions) parallel to the gas Pipeline North of 62 km of extension, with pipes of 30 inches in diameter.
The project is completed with 100 km of the gas Pipeline of Federal Integration, which is already under construction, and the reversion of 4 compressor plants, located two in Cordoba, and the other two in Santiago del Estero and Salta.
The Reversal of the Pipeline North, complementary work to the GPNK, it will bring the gas from Vaca Muerta to homes and industries of Córdoba, Tucumán, La Rioja, Catamarca, Santiago del Estero, Salta and Jujuy, and the scale development of new industrial activities, especially the mining of lithium.
